La Buona Vita is breathing new life into the La Grange gourmet restaurant experience by delivering authentic Italian food with fresh focus and seasonal flair. From homemade pasta made with fine-grade semolina flour to locally raised meats, Owner and Chef Terry Rempert’s seasonal menu features only the highest-quality ingredients, prepared with exacting standards and innovative techniques.

While our customers and staff alike have plenty of longtime favorites, Chef Terry prides himself on dreaming up new dishes and flavor profiles. Many of these creations–like Duck Breast Risotto, Makers Mark Marinated Smoked Scottish Salmon and Braised Pork Belly Sandwiches–have become seasonal specials that are classics in their own right.
